Job Description

Position Summary:
This position provides structured, evidence-based group therapy and psychoeducation to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This role supports clients in building recovery skills, enhancing engagement, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily group therapy, psychoeducation, and skills-building sessions. Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches. Monitor client participation and progress; complete timely and accurate documentation. Support crisis intervention and safety planning as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized treatment goals. Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (CSAC, CADC, licensed clinician, or equivalent accepted). Experience facilitating groups in substance use or behavioral health settings. Knowledge of ASAM criteria, evidence-based practices, and co-occurring disorders. Strong communication, group facilitation, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
CSAC, CADC, LCADC, or clinical licensure; bilingual or multicultural competency.
Schedule:
Part-time, Monday-Friday. Flexibility required to meet program needs.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
