This position involves providing guidance, support, and resources to help clients navigate the challenges of employment and develop the skills necessary for successful integration into the workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, counseling, or a related field, with a passion for empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Duties Conduct assessments to determine clients' vocational strengths and areas for improvement. Develop individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Provide counseling and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on job readiness, interviewing skills, and workplace etiquette. Collaborate with community organizations and employers to create job opportunities for clients. Offer addiction counseling as needed to support clients in overcoming barriers to employment. Mentor clients throughout their job search process, providing encouragement and guidance. Stay informed about employment and labor laws to ensure compliance in all counseling practices. Maintain accurate records of client progress and services provided. Skills Strong understanding of employment & labor law principles. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and autism. Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques. Proficient in teaching concepts related to workforce development. Background in social work or related fields is preferred. Excellent interviewing skills to assess client needs effectively. Ability to mentor individuals towards achieving their career goals. Experience in recruiting candidates for various job opportunities. Skills in training & development to enhance client employability.
