Job Description

Clinical Support Opportunities (Non-Degreed) R&C Consulting Group, Inc. is continuously seeking compassionate, motivated, and qualified individuals to support the delivery of behavioral health and substance use services throughout North Carolina. This posting serves as a talent pool for current and future Clinical Support opportunities. Qualified applicants may be considered for positions as they become available across multiple office locations and service areas.
Clinical Support positions may include:
Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) Paraprofessional Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Applications will remain on file and may be reviewed as staffing needs arise. Opportunities may become available at various R&C Consulting Group, Inc. locations throughout North Carolina.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Clinical Support staff provide direct support services to individuals and families receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services. These positions play a critical role in helping clients develop coping skills, improve daily functioning, access community resources, achieve recovery goals, and maintain stability within their homes and communities. Clinical Support staff routinely provide services in homes, schools, offices, and community settings and work collaboratively with treatment teams to support client success.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may vary by position and may include: Providing direct support and encouragement to individuals receiving behavioral health or substance use services Assisting clients with developing independent living skills, coping strategies, recovery skills, and self-management techniques Supporting treatment goals established by the clinical team Assisting clients with accessing community resources, healthcare services, educational opportunities, employment resources, and other supports Providing peer support services based on lived experience and recovery principles when applicable Participating in treatment team meetings and collaborative service planning activities Providing services in homes, schools, offices, and community settings as appropriate Maintaining timely, accurate, and professional documentation of services provided Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies Participating in required supervision, meetings, and training activities Performing other duties as assigned to support quality client care and service delivery
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability and willingness to provide community-based services and travel within assigned service areas
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference may be given to candidates with: Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, social services, education, or human services settings Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) certification Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credential Experience providing community-based services and supports Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families Knowledge of local resources and service systems
COMPENSATION
Compensation is determined based on the specific position, relevant experience, education, credentials, and overall qualifications of the selected candidate. Compensation details will be discussed during the hiring process.
