What You'll Be Doing:

As a Vocational Counselor , you'll guide individuals with developmental disabilities on their journey to employment and independence. You'll manage a caseload and play a key role in:

• Providing 1:1 counseling to help participants align their goals with their strengths.
• Leading groups and workshops that build life and job readiness skills.
• Developing individualized goal plans and guiding participants through each step of their journey.
• Partnering with families, caregivers, referral agencies, school districts, and other professionals to ensure a strong support system.
• Creating and implementing vocational assessments, pre-vocational services, job placements, job coaching, and follow-along services.
• Championing innovation by offering ideas to enhance services and programming.

About You:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Psychology, Sociology, Rehab Counseling or related field.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & databases/EHRs.
• Valid NJ driver's license.
