WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2026
@ 8:30 a.m. Examination will be held at our District Office located at 1330 S. Knott Ave., Anaheim, CA 92804. A recent TB Skin Test exam with negative report required upon hiring. Completion of four years of high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred training in child and youth work or experience as a recreation leader/playground supervisor or an equivalent combination of such training and experience.
Working knowledge of:
general needs and behavior of children, problems attributable to child growth, development and care; basic outdoor games and rules of play; first aid methods and procedures.
ONLY THE FIRST 40 APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. CLOSING DATE WILL BE REVISED BASED ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.
The top ten (10) applicants scoring at the 70% level or higher on the written examination will be eligible for the oral portion of the examination. In case there are fewer than three (3) applicants at the 70% level, the three (3) candidates with the highest scores, but no score lower than 50% may be eligible for the oral portion of the examination. Eligibility list will be established for six months.

WHEN REPORTING FOR THE WRITTEN TEST. SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Applicants must print and bring a copy of the confirmation email received upon applying to the examination. Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Valid California Driver's License and personal means of transportation between sites required.
