Job Description

JOB OPENINGS
School Counselor (Full-Time, Part-Time, and Internship positions available; must be registered with Board of Behavioral Health) Greenacre Homes & School is looking for a LCSW/ASW, MFT/AMFT or
APCC/LPCC
to provide case management and clinical services in a non-public school and residential setting, for boys and young men. Candidate must have strong clinical, organizational and writing skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-teamed community of therapists, educators, and caregivers. Greenacre School is a non-public special education school providing educationally related mental health services and school-based counseling services to boys and young men. We are looking for a School Counselor for the remainder of the current 2021-2022 school year with the potential to continue into the 2022-2023 school year. Our school-based counselors provide individual counseling to students per their IEP services at our beautiful 5-acre main campus, located in Sebastopol, CA., 55 miles north of SF. We have approximately 66 students with emotional disturbances and learning disabilities receiving individual therapy. You will be joining a highly dedicated and tenured clinical team. This position requires an individual who enjoys working with disadvantaged youth, is highly organized, and has the ability to work independently. Supervision is provided by a Licensed Clinician (supervision hours are unpaid) for AMFTs and ASWs. We provide full-time, part-time, or up to 20 internship hours each week our special education school is in session. Supervised hours in our residential settings may be available as well.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a registered AMFT/MFT, ASW/LCSW, or
APCC/LPCC
Must be at least 21 years of age Must have valid CA driver's license and clean DMV record Must complete a background check, pre-employment physical, and a tuberculosis test (upon hire) Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Greenacre Homes and School is a progressive Residential Treatment Agency and Non-Public School serving boys and young men since 1975.
