GIRLS OF TRANSFORMATION MENTORING PROGRAM
is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to serving females ages 11-17. Our mission is to provide holistic support through: Group Mentoring One-on-One Mentoring Life Skills Training Educational Services with
Biblical Integration Job Summary:
We're seeking a female Christian mentor to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of adolescent girls. As a Lead Mentor, you'll provide guidance, support, and spiritual leadership to help them navigate life's challenges and build a strong foundation in their faith.
Responsibilities:
Lead a group of up to 20 girls in a classroom setting on Saturday's from 9:00am-2:00pm. Facilitate monthly one-on-one sessions with mentees. Provide spiritual guidance, support, and encouragement to help girls deepen their faith. Communicate effective with parents/guardians of youth. Collaborate with our team to create a safe, nurturing environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Committed Christian with a strong faith foundation. Experience mentoring female youth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to connect with and inspire young people.
Responsibilities:
As a Lead Mentor, you will: Build meaningful relationships with youth (ages 11-17) through regular meetings, activities, and events. Provide emotional support, guidance, and mentorship to help youth overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Encourage and support youth in their spiritual growth and development, deepening their faith and understanding of God's love. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the director to ensure a holistic approach to supporting each youth. Plan and lead group activities, workshops, and outings promoting teamwork, leadership, and character development. Model Christian values and principles, demonstrating a strong commitment to faith and compassion. Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with the Director. Assist in developing and implementing individualized plans to address behavioral, emotional, or social challenges. Integrate biblical teachings into everyday life and learning, providing a faith-based perspective.
Mandatory Training:
Must be able to attend a mandatory 3-hour Training Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00am. Must be able to attend the Parent Orientation Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00am.
Program Dates:
12-weeks "
SATURDAY
" program dates are June 6, 2026 - August 22, 2026 from 9:00am - 2:00pm.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must: Be a committed Christian with a strong faith foundation. Have 5+ years of experience working with youth, preferably in a mentoring or counseling role. Possess excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Be able to build trust and rapport with youth and their families. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Pass a Level II background check.
Education:
Associate Degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred.
