Job Description

ALPHA is a school-based prevention program offering support and counseling services to students at seven Orange County elementary schools. All services are provided by Master level counselors free of charge during school hours. Services include counseling, academic assistance, character educations lessons, mentoring and family support. Current ALPHA elementary school locations include Engelwood, Hungerford, Lake Weston, Lancaster, Lovell, Mollie Ray and Sally Ride elementary schools.
F.O.C.U.S
provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families in the home, office, neighborhood centers, and schools. Counseling services are provided by Masters level counselors on a variety of issues including but not limited to depression, anger, school difficulties, self-esteem, marital issues, motivation, trauma, anxiety, and substance abuse. Services are currently provided in the following communities in
Central Florida:
Apopka, Oak Ridge, Pine Hills, Union Park, Winter Park and West Orange. As a Senior Youth Counselor at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions to plan and implement intensive therapy and counseling processes for children with addiction, behavioral and/or mental disorders. These functions include, but are not limited to: Completing the required assessments under the supervision of a licensed professional Coordinating and implementing behavioral health programing associated with the treatment plan Developing the child or adolescent's discharge and aftercare plan with DJJ, ADM and/or the Office of Family Safety and Preservation Performing psychosocial assessments through interviewing of clients, family and others Providing focused therapeutic treatment and counseling to clients Assessing the needs of the client and family to refer them to the appropriate support services and programs Monitoring condition and behavior of client and effectively communicate progress to other professionals Routinely provide guidance and leadership to other counselors and conducting outreach programs aimed at attracting parents to counseling programs to aid in the therapy and recovery of clients Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Qualifications Master's Degree in a Human Services field Level II Background clearance- All Aspire Health Partners Internships and Careers require Level 2 clearance, with Aspire covering fingerprinting costs.
