By approaching complex developmental trauma with an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach, we strategically address the underlying emotional dynamics of the family, supporting the healing of the source of childhood trauma—the parent child relationship. We create connections that cultivate healing through. Parent Coaching Visit Coaching Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Individual/Family Therapy Intensive Attachment-Based Parenting The Center for Attachment & Trauma exists to strengthen families involved in the child welfare system by centering relationship, connection, and repair. We work with children and parents navigating trauma, separation, and system involvement, with a clear focus on keeping families connected and returning children home as soon as it is safely possible. Our work recognizes that trauma is not only something that happens to individuals, but something that is carried and healed within relationships—most powerfully, within the parent-child bond. We provide trauma-informed, attachment-based services that move beyond compliance-driven interventions and instead build the relational capacity families need to heal and remain together. By supporting parents through advocacy, coaching, and therapeutic intervention, we help families reconnect in meaningful, everyday ways, reduce unnecessary system involvement, and prevent repeated separation. Our clinicians work fiercely and collaboratively to set parents up for success, preserve attachment during times of stress, and support lasting reunification and stability. We are looking for a seasoned professional that will be compensated accordingly. We are here to support you through your own personal career development and offer training in specialized interest areas Experience professional advancement opportunities upon independent licensure What you will do: Evaluate and assess children, youth and families and develop specific mental health treatment plans according to program type Provide individual and family trauma informed services that cultivate resilience and healing Coordinate clinical work with services provided to patients by other agencies and individuals Compensation $50-$85/billable hour, commensurate with experience Required Qualifications 3 years' dependency experience (mandatory) Knowledge of Attachment Theory Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care Licensed, or eligible for license in Florida. Or, Masters-level therapist's with at least 5+ years' experience At least 5 years providing therapeutic services to children, youth and families Excellent verbal and written communication skills Prior education and utilization of an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a child welfare case manager Trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention Adoption Competency Trained Trained in other attachment-based, trauma-informed modalities Criminal and Abuse Registry checks will be completed. Must have a valid driver's license.
