Counselor Supervisor-Child Welfare (FIT) Ibis Healthcare - 5.0 Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Loan forgiveness Qualifications Behavioral interventions Master's degree Driver's License Master's degree in human services Substance abuse Documentation review Behavioral therapy Full Job Description The Counselor Supervisor is a licensed professional who will provide clinical supervision of direct care staff and clinical intervention and case management for patients diagnosed with chemical dependency and/or co-occurring chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders by performing duties as listed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Master's degree in Human Services related field from an accredited college or university. Must have one of the following licenses in the State of Florida, LMHC or LCSW, and two (2) to four (4) years of related experience. Knowledge of 12-step program, behavior modification, case management and addiction. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, legal documentation, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions from managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the general public. Valid Florida driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise clinical staff within the child welfare program. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and any applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training new employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical supervision; Act as a resource for staff regarding program procedures. Monitor and assist in training and education of other staff members, interns, and students. Review client assessments and evaluations; review and implement treatment plans for clients. Complete required CFBHN data reports for FITT and Flite and other reports as needed. Provide individual and family counseling as needed Maintain and monitor caseloads Participate in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings. Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies and provide feedback to those agencies. Provide crisis intervention, when needed. Plan and conduct staff development activities as required. Assist in training and education of other staff members, interns and students. Review active and discharged client charts. Provide other assistance in the program as needed.

Maintain patient rights as defined by DCF. Maintain the highest standard in ethical conduct and confidentiality. Maintain clinical records in accordance with Agency standards. Follow all established Agency policies and procedures. Model ideals of integrity, loyalty, and teamwork. Sustain a positive, caring, supportive, recovery-oriented environment.
