CPR Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Weekend Overnight Youth Advocate to support youth in this adolescent group home. This role provides a safe, stable, and supportive environment during overnight hours. The Youth Advocate is responsible for maintaining a positive, trauma-informed atmosphere, assisting with crisis intervention as needed, and helping residents follow house guidelines and routines. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates passionate about youth development, behavioral health, or human services who are available to work Friday and Saturday overnights . What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference in the
Lives of Youth:
Provide awake, overnight supervision and support for youth ages 12-18 years old. Monitor resident safety and conduct routine wellness checks throughout the shift. Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or behavioral issues. Document all shift activities, incidents, and resident interactions accurately and in a timely manner. On the rare occasion due to staffing needs, you may be asked to work your scheduled shift at any of the four residential programs in Quincy, Weymouth, Hingham or Plymouth.
Requirements:
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1 year experience working with adolescents is preferred (not required) Residential experience preferred Experience with systems (e.g.
DMH, DCF
) preferred Additional languages desirable, though not required Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPI physical interventions, and de-escalation techniques Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPR and first aid Bay State Community Services is an equal opportunity employer.
