As a Youth Development Worker, you'll help create a safe, therapeutic environment where youth can build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward positive behavioral change. What You'll Do As a Youth Development Worker, you will: Supervise and mentor youth in a structured therapeutic environment. Build positive relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support. Facilitate group activities and individual interactions. Implement established treatment plans and behavioral interventions. Transport youth to and from the program, appointments, and community activities. Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate documentation. Complete required reports, progress notes, and daily documentation. Participate in Treatment Team meetings, staff trainings, and interdisciplinary meetings. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized program environment. Help prepare meals and assist with daily program operations. Ensure the safety and well-being of all youth while following program policies and confidentiality requirements. What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are: Compassionate and patient Positive role models Dependable and reliable Strong communicators Team-oriented Calm under pressure Passionate about helping youth succeed Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience working with adolescents in a child care agency, child placement agency, educational setting, or comparable life experience such as parenting or youth mentoring. Valid Driver's License required. Ability to pass criminal background and driving record checks. Ability to complete required training, including CPR and First Aid.
