Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Specialist BraveBe Child Advocacy Center | Lincoln, Nebraska We believe every child deserves safety, dignity, and a future filled with hope. We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and relationship-driven professional to join our team as an Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Specialist , a role that provides direct advocacy and life-changing support to youth impacted by or at risk of trafficking. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building trust, responding in moments of crisis, and walking alongside youth on their path toward healing . What You'll Do Advocate & Support Youth Provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to youth impacted by trafficking or at risk of exploitation Build trusting relationships with youth and caregivers, helping meet immediate needs like safety, shelter, and stability Offer on-site advocacy during forensic interviews and medical exams Empower & Guide Help youth identify strengths, build self-efficacy, and develop skills for long-term success Connect youth and families to critical resources, including mental health services, housing, and legal support Educate youth and caregivers on abuse dynamics, victim rights, and available systems of support Collaborate for Impact Partner with law enforcement, child welfare, and community providers to ensure coordinated care Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts, including

(Team Response to Anti-Trafficking and Child Exploitation) initiative; working alongside law enforcement, child welfare, medical, and mental health partners to ensure youth are seen, supported, and protected.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building trust, responding in moments of crisis, and walking alongside youth on their path toward healing . initiatives Support investigations and court processes, including accompaniment and preparation Ensure Quality & Accountability Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation Track outcomes and contribute to program evaluation and reporting Stay current on best practices in trafficking response and child advocacy What You Bring Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field Two+ years' experience working with children, families, or trauma-informed care, to include professional experience in working with victims of sex and labor trafficking, the criminal justice or child welfare system, and as a member of a multidisciplinary team (preferred) Ability to build trust with youth and navigate sensitive, high-stress situations Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to respond to crisis situations, including evenings or weekends Growth & Development We are committed to your growth and success: Comprehensive onboarding, including specialized advocacy training Ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities Access to regional and national learning experiences Benefits That Support You We care deeply about the people doing this important work.
