After School Counselor 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

After School Counselor Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? ILC is looking for a patient and compassionate consumer who has experience working with children ages 4-12. We have two locations one on 62nd & on 55th St. The schedule will be from 2:15pm-6:30pm. Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in creating age-appropriate lessons Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe Prepare and serve snacks and meals throughout the day Keep parents and families updated on their students' daily activities and progress -Pick up and drop of Childs at school Help with homework

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field Ability to work creatively and flexibly - LOTS
