Youth Development Professional (Y.D.P.)

Aztec, Bloomfield or Farmington Club Looking for dynamic and engaging team members to work cooperatively with the Boys & Girls Club Unit Director to plan and prepare activities for the afterschool & summer programs, to provide supervision and engagement of club members during the afterschool & summer programs, and to be responsible for equipment and areas of the club used during the afterschool program. DUTIES Supervision and engagement of club members during the afterschool & summer programs Supervise and ensure the safety of the club members Provides a positive role model for young people through communication, dress, and attitude Appropriately recognize the accomplishments of all Club members through the use of awards, incentives, and prizes Attends meetings and trainings as scheduled Must be flexible to change and willing to assist in all areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent Self-Starter, able to work without supervision and as a team member Experience working with youth Valid driver's license Successful completion of criminal background check Able to be active for extended times (3+ hours) Ability to have FUN!!!
