Summary After School Counselor (Part-Time) Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM-6:00 PM Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of children? Are you energetic, dependable, and looking for a rewarding part-time position with evenings and weekends free? Almost Home is seeking an enthusiastic After School Counselor to provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our school-age children each afternoon. This is more than just supervising children—it's an opportunity to become a positive role model and help create meaningful childhood memories. In this role, you will: Assist children with homework and encourage good study habits. Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities. Foster kindness, teamwork, and positive friendships. Create a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels valued. Communicate professionally with families and work collaboratively with our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, has strong communication and classroom management skills, and brings a positive, patient, and dependable attitude each day. Experience in child care, youth programs, education, or similar settings is preferred but not required.
