Join our team at Sarah A. Reed Children's Center , where every day you'll make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents while earning a competitive starting rate — $22.00/hour with a Bachelor's degree! What You'll Do As a Residential Youth Counselor you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting youth ages 5-18 in our Residential Treatment Program.
You will:
Provide daily supervision, care, and support for residents in a structured, therapeutic setting. Lead fun, meaningful, and age-appropriate group activities that promote life skills and positive behavior. Support individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by our clinical team. Model healthy coping skills and problem-solving techniques. Maintain accurate daily documentation and communicate progress to the team. Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma required Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred (eligible for $22/hr starting rate)
Experience:
1-3 years of experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • with adjustment for previous relevant experience
Other Requirements:
Reliable transportation Ability to obtain all required clearances Schedule 1st Shift
