About Bluebird Counseling Bluebird Counseling is a small group practice focused on helping clients reconnect with themselves and build meaningful, sustainable change. We are intentionally building a cohesive team of 6-8 clinicians who value curiosity, creativity, accountability, and genuine connection. We are currently seeking a child therapist who is passionate about working with children and families and motivated to build and maintain a consistent caseload. What You'll Do Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents (play therapy experience a plus) Partner with caregivers to support family systems and progress Maintain an average of 24 billable client hours per week (full-time) Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes independently (per clinic guidelines) Complete documentation within 24 hours of service Participate in case consultation and team collaboration Develop referral sources to supplement clinic referrals Build and maintain a consistent caseload Who You Are A therapist with prior clinical experience and ability to work independently Curious, creative, and engaged in your clinical work Motivated to grow a caseload and contribute to a team Reliable, consistent, and accountable Interested in working with children and families Committed to inclusive care, including LGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming practices What We Offer W2 employment Health, dental, and vision insurance (50% employer-paid) 401(k) with up to 4% match after one year Generous continuing education support Furnished office available 1-3 days/week (including a child-friendly play therapy space) Smaller office option for quieter work Clinic referrals + support building your own referral network Collaborative, supportive team environment Leadership invested in your professional growth $700 sign on bonus ($200 at 2 months; remainder when averaging 24 billable client hours per week) Note about Wages Clinicians are paid a contracted percentage of collections. The amount earned per hour depends on the CPT codes used and the client's insurance plan. For example, Medicaid has lower reimbursement rates than private insurance plans. This fact is reflected in the estimated hourly pay indicated above.
