Three :
7am-3pm shifts,
Two:
3pm-11pm shifts, oneweekend a month of on call duties and assist with open shifts (anytime). 40+ Hours weekly. Primary Responsibilities (Youth Support, Intervention & Daily Care) Support the daily structure, routines, and supervision of youth ages 12-17 in accordance with individualized service plans (ISPs) and trauma-informed best practices. Assist youth in developing healthy routines, independent living skills, coping strategies, and daily functioning. Model positive interactions, appropriate communication, and pro-social behavior. Engage youth in structured recreational, educational, and community-based activities. Support youth during transitions (school, appointments, family visits, community outings). Participate in treatment team meetings when invited to share observations relevant to youth progress and daily functioning. Administrative & Program Support Responsibilities Maintain accurate, timely documentation, including progress notes, communication logs, incident notes, medication logs (when certified), and other required records. Assist in preparing materials and information for monthly reports, audits, treatment meetings, and compliance checks. Review staff logs, youth information, and bulletin/calendar board updates to maintain awareness of program needs and expectations. Assist with reviewing daily menus, meal preparation, and ensuring best mealtime practices (sitting with youth, engagement, nutrition support). Monitor facility safety, complete walkthroughs, and report any concerns to the Manager immediately. Operational Responsibilities Ensure daily schedules run smoothly, including morning routines, study periods, evening routines, meals, chores, and recreational activities. Assist with coordinating and posting weekly activity rosters and ensuring youth participation. Help identify community resources and opportunities for youth, including recreational and skill-building programs. Assist with household tasks such as: Meal planning and grocery lists Assisting youth with chores Light housekeeping when needed Organizing activity materials and supplies Provide immediate support during crisis situations, following agency protocols and Manager/CAO direction. Complete incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Role Boundaries (Important) This position does not include: Staff supervision Staff evaluations Disciplinary action Hiring, termination, or corrective action Final oversight of documentation completed by staff Authority over staff scheduling or decision-making (may assist in scheduling, but not finalize) The House Lead supports operations and youth care but does not hold managerial or supervisory authority. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; experience of 1+ years working with youth. Some vocational, educational, or certification training in best youth practices -developmental/mental health (Preferred). Ability to manage crises, supervise youth, and maintain consistent structure and safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance. At least 21 Must complete CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Behavioral Restraint certification within the first six months of hire. Must pass background checks and required training.
