Youth Program Staff Insight Climbing & Movement Bainbridge Island, WA Job Details Part-time $17.30 - $18.00 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Sports and outdoor activities Personal service experience with children Sports activities for children Working with youth Camp Full Job Description Who you are: You're a responsible, reliable, and fun individual with the ability to manage kids ages 4 through 12, interested in keeping kids active and introducing them to the sport of climbing while managing risks. You love working with kids and can manage groups and individuals.
Responsibilities:
Instruct youth programs including recreational after-school and weekend programs and seasonal camps. Engage in youth behavior management and re-direction in a positive manner. Communicate effectively with kids, parents, co-workers, and gym members. Be a positive ambassador of Insight's Youth Programs to the wider community.
Qualifications:
Enjoys working with youth Prior experience working with youth desired (babysitting, mentoring, youth camps, youth sports, etc.). Good verbal communication skills Climbing experience is great, but not required!
Expected hours:
2-5 hours/week during school weeks, 10+ hours during school-break camp weeks
Job Type:

$17.30 - $18.00 per hour
