This position spans the upcoming academic year, starting August 2026 through June 4, 2027, and requires a full-time, onsite presence.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work is required. Active SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work or MDE School Social Worker Credential. Previous experience working with K-12 student populations within a school setting preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external agencies. Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy skills. Must be able to work onsite full time.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and interventions for students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop IEPs and 504 plans. Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions. Offer crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and referrals as necessary. Engage families and caregivers to foster students' success. Collaborate on school-wide initiatives promoting positive school climate and mental wellness.
