Software Developer

Description We are looking for a Software Developer to join a manufacturing organization in Mentor, Ohio and contribute to the design, development, and support of business-critical web applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable solutions with modern Microsoft technologies while collaborating with users across a variety of functional areas. The successful candidate will bring strong technical judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to adapt effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET technologies. Build responsive user interfaces with Angular, JavaScript, and related front-end tools to improve usability and performance. Create and support web services and API integrations that connect internal and customer-facing systems. Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to support application functionality, reporting, and data integrity. Partner with stakeholders from different business areas to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver practical software solutions. Contribute to eCommerce-related development efforts, including support for platform integrations and user experience improvements. Evaluate, test, and apply additional web frameworks or development tools when they add value to project goals. Manage multiple assignments in a changing environment while maintaining code quality, accuracy, and attention to detail. Requirements Hands-on experience developing applications with C# and the .NET Framework. Proficiency in ASP.NET and web application development within a Microsoft technology stack. Experience with Angular, JavaScript, and common front-end development practices. Strong working knowledge of SQL, including query writing and stored procedure development. Familiarity with web services, APIs, and system integration concepts. Exposure to eCommerce platforms such as Insite eCommerce is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a broad range of users. Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort managing shifting priorities in a dynamic setting. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
