Everforth ECS is seeking a Software Developer - Mid to work in ourFairfax, VA office. Thesolutionis an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together tooperateas an integrated solution. This position will work as part of an agile development team to conduct systems design, analysis, and development of the solutionSuccessful candidates mustdemonstrateexcellentproblem-solvingskills, enjoy the challenge of tackling technical tasks and problems with little oversight, and thinkingat the broader solution level.

A strong desireand aptitude for learning isa mustasour solution is rapidly evolving. Candidates must alsodemonstratedexperience writing well-structured Python code using best practices.

Theyshouldalsohave a solid understanding of core data pipeline processing capabilities to includedifferent designpatterns, stream vs bulk processing, ETL/ELTfunctionality, a range of data stores, and APIs. Must be a US Citizen and able toobtain andmaintainDHS Suitability3+yearsdeveloping backend enterprise-level Python applications.5+ years building performant, reliable, and scalable systems2+ years implementingor working withETL/ELTand APIs3+ years working with persistent data storage (Relational and NoSQL databases)2+yearsdevelopment experienceleveragingcontainers (Docker, Kubernetes,etc.)5+yearsgit experience (GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket,etc.)Demonstrated experience writing unit tests to ensure reliable code delivery.
