RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Locating the structural roof members and installing feet and flashings
• Installing racking and solar array components
• Working with install supervisor to complete site pre-wiring and grounding
• Work directly with supervisor to install solar array

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants with previous solar installation experience will be considered first
• Any construction related experience a plus (roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc)
• Willing and capable of working in extreme environments (hot sun, high places/roofs, and confined crawl spaces).
• Skilled working with power and hand tools. (owning your own hand tools and power tools a plus)
• Full dexterity in upper and lower body
• Ability to work in various positions including, but not limited to: stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, on ladders, and in attic areas for extended periods of time
• Be able to lift, push and pull materials and equipment to complete required tasks
• Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday

• Must be very organized and be able to meet aggressive timelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Strong documentation skills
• Professional appearance

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR

• Working knowledge of NEC code.
• 3+ years solar electric installation experience.
• Proficiency in installing many types of grid-tied inverters, on and off grid systems
• Construction related experience including electrical and roofing knowledge.
• NABCEP certification, and/or formal solar installation training courses.
