Solar Operator - Millers Branch III Mortenson Construction paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Texas, Haskell May 08, 2026 Solar Operator SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an Solar Operator that will be responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows prescribed safety regulations Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction Follows work plans and pre-task cards Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: Mini Excavator Backhoe Trackhoe Loader Forklift/Telehandler Bobcat/Skid-steerQUALIFICATIONS
Equipment certifications as required Minimum three years of related experience Current driver's license of proper classification and necessary endorsements as required by law Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, and detail-oriented; ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts Ability to operate equipment by moving levers, shifting gears, depressing pedals, and maneuvering steering wheels; knowledge of equipment and their uses; basic mathematical skills Ability to work independently with active listening and effective communication skills, open to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements •Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
