About Us:
LinkMed is an at-home diagnostic imaging provider focused on making ultrasound monitoring convenient, comfortable, and accessible for patients wherever they are. We specialize in providing high-quality ultrasound services for fertility and early pregnancy care, including pre-fertility evaluations, in-cycle monitoring, post-procedure follow-up, and early OB monitoring, all performed in the patient's home, office, or another location that works best for them. Our services help eliminate common barriers to care such as travel, missed work, and scheduling challenges, enabling patients to receive timely and personalized imaging without added stress or disruption.
Position Overview:
The Sonographer performs high-quality sonographic examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and procedures. This role involves traveling to patient locations, providing compassionate patient care, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering a safe and comfortable environment. The Sonographer plays a critical role in patient education and ensuring that each examination meets the practice's standards of excellence and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Ultrasound Examinations :
Perform sonographic examinations, adhering to established clinical protocols and appointment schedules.
Patient Care and Education :
Educate patients regarding ultrasound processes, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and clarity.
Mobile Service Delivery :
Travel to designated patient locations, ensuring timeliness and appropriate transport and setup of equipment.
Documentation and Record-Keeping :
Ensure timely reporting and secure handling of confidential health information, in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance :
Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and perform routine safety checks, calibration, and cleaning.
Quality Assurance and Professional Growth :
Participate in training, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Regulatory Compliance :
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing sonographic practice, including infection control and clinical documentation standards.
Qualifications:
Current certification in Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program (RDMS or equivalent). Prior experience in fertility or Obstetrics/Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) sonography preferred, though not required. Demonstrated skill in operating ultrasound equipment and related technology. Strong ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse patients and multidisciplinary team members. Commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care with a focus on safety, comfort, and education. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to patient sites.
