S&OP Analyst

Job Description:

Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., a leader in American firearms manufacturing, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven S&OP Analyst to support and augment the company's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role will directly support the S&OP Manager, with responsibilities spanning detailed demand/supply data management, KPI reporting, cross-functional coordination, and facilitation of elements of the S&OP cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SKU-level demand and supply data within Oracle ERP and Excel tools.
• Develop KPI reports (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, etc.).
• Support BI implementation (PowerBI in the future).
• Prepare inputs for monthly S&OP cycle and coordinate across factories.
• Funnel insights through the S&OP Manager and support executive reports.
• Moderate selected meetings and ensure timely alignment across teams.
• Serve as backup presenter for S&OP meetings when required.
• Recommend improvements to forecasting, reporting, and data integrity.
• Consistent demonstration of Ruger's expected behaviors.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or S&OP roles.

Preferred Skills:

Strong Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills. BI experience (PowerBI preferred). Forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning knowledge. Certifications (APICS

CPIM/CSCP

) preferred but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Comfortable with SKU-level detail and large datasets. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
