Print Application Deadline 6/29/2026 11:55 PM Pacific Date Posted 5/6/2026 Contact Elvira Perez Number of Openings 8 Salary Pay Range $30 - $30 Per Hour Length of Work Year School year Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Position Summary This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the organization's payroll, payroll tax reporting (quarterly and year end), workers' compensation reporting, preparing accounting transactions associated with payroll, and the maintenance and retention of the payroll records. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Primary Role and Responsibilities ? Address issues, concerns, challenges, and reports to immediate supervisor in a timely manner ? Maintain a solution-based focus when facing challenges ? Complete responsibilities accurately and on time ? Hold everyone, including yourself, accountable for their actions ? Comply with ProYouth Employee Handbook and other Policies and Procedures ? Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters relating to employees. ? Exhibit professional behavior that reflects positively on ProYouth's policies and practices ? Communicate with transparency ? Support site staff to work effectively and efficiently while building trust and partnerships ? Process bi-weekly payroll for up to 600 employees. ? Review time records for compliance and accuracy. ? Maintain time and attendance and other records related to payroll. ? Review new hire entries for accuracy and apply distribution criteria. ? Update employee deduction, direct deposit information, and tax status codes. ? Update tax tables in payroll system annually and as needed. ? Process final and adjustment checks as needed. ? Enter, update, and maintain garnishment data. ? Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting. ? Prepare and submit monthly worker's compensation reports. ? Enters and reviews 401K retirement plan information into outsourced computer system. ? Prepares accounting transactions and documentation related to payroll. ? Maintain payroll and time keeping systems. ? Ensure staff are trained to properly use timekeeping and payroll systems. ? Prepares special reports for management. ? Participates in annual budget preparation ? Other duties as assigned within the scope of your training and knowledge base Expectations and Accountability ? Administrative responsibilities will be completed accurately, completely and on time Education and Experience ? AA/AS degree or higher is preferred, ? High School diploma or equivalent AND o 48 completed College Units OR o NCLB Paraprofessional Certification ? A minimum of two years' experience processing payroll in-house Requirements / Qualifications Primary Role and Responsibilities ?
