Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. Duties Support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and service management Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment Oversee food preparation processes ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen activities Assist with menu planning, catering events, and special banquet functions to deliver memorable guest experiences Monitor shift management and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the kitchen area Skills Proven supervising experience within high-volume restaurants Deep knowledge of dietary department practices and food handling safety protocols Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management systems Strong leadership abilities with a talent for team management and staff development Experience in inventory management, control procedures, and cost-effective food service operations Familiarity with restaurant experience including menu planning, shift management, and catering logistics Excellent communication skills paired with a passion for hospitality and customer service excellence Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices in diverse culinary settings Join us as a Sous Chef where your culinary skills will shine!
