Job Description

Overview Chillingham's Steak is a high-end casual steakhouse know for quality ingredients, consistent execution and a professional yet approachable dining experience. We are seeking a Sous Chef / Head Line Cook to help lead daily kitchen operations and maintain the standards our guests expect. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who communicates clearly, executes precisely and takes pride in running a tight kitchen. Responsibilities Lead and communicate with the line to ensure proper execution of the menu Ensure accurate plating, portioning and presentation Maintain consistency and quality during service Assist with daily specials and contribute creative menu ideas Handle kitchen operations and possible ordering when the Chef is not present Ensure proper closing procedures are followed Maintain a clean, organized and food-safe kitchen at all times Qualifications Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Head Line Cook Ability to lead and communicate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen Strong understanding of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organization Creative mindset while respecting established recipes and standards Reliable, detail-oriented and professional.
