Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Manage food production processes, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage practices to minimize waste. Support the dietary department by preparing specialized meals that meet dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines. Oversee food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Contribute to menu planning by suggesting new dishes and refining existing offerings based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Coordinate with catering and banquet teams for large events, ensuring timely preparation and flawless execution of all food service components. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining restaurants or similar high-end culinary environments. Strong background in food production, food safety, and kitchen management practices. Supervising experience with team management skills that motivate and develop staff effectively. Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures. Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines with an emphasis on presentation quality. Familiarity with catering operations, banquet service, and shift management. Prior experience working within the food industry, including restaurant or hospitality settings; banquet experience is a plus.
