Job Description

We're hiring a dependable, high-standard kitchen team member who wants more than a typical line cook job. This role is for someone who takes pride in their work, moves with urgency, and wants to grow into a kitchen leadership position within 6-12 months based on performance. You'll be part of a small, disciplined team in an award-winning distillery and restaurant. We run a clean, organized kitchen with clear expectations and no tolerance for low effort. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as needed. Adhere to dietary department guidelines when preparing meals for specific dietary needs. Washing Dishes This truly is a flex role in the kitchen. With our small staff, everyone does a little bit of everything. The person filling this role will be cross-trained on all responsibilities within the kitchen.
