Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year as a Special Education Teacher. Located in the scenic Fryeburg, ME area, this position offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a school setting, creating inclusive and engaging learning experiences for students with diverse needs. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) in Maine Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's preferred Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting Understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Commitment to equity and inclusion for all students
Responsibilities:
