We are seeking passionate educators for five newly opened positions focused on both resource and inclusion settings. Whether you're an experienced special education professional or looking to take your expertise to a supportive school community, this contract role is designed to be rewarding and engaging.
Key Qualifications:
Current Special Education Teacher certification—out-of-state licenses are welcome Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments Previous experience in resource or inclusion settings preferred, but not required Strong communication and organization skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs Willingness to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying learning levels and abilities Collaborate regularly with general education staff to facilitate inclusion Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments as needed Foster an encouraging atmosphere that helps all students reach their potential Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture Experience the unique blend of professional growth and coastal living.
