Special Ed Teacher

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Learning Specialist for the Learning Center at Lake Grove Elementary. This full-time contract opportunity runs from May 11 to June 15, 2026, and offers a chance to engage directly with a caseload of approximately 25 students. Key Qualifications:

Valid licensure as a Special Education Teacher Experience working in an elementary or similar K-5 setting preferred Strong background supporting students with learning disabilities and behavioral needs Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and creating student-centered lesson plans Effective communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt instruction and interventions tailored to small-group and individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:
