Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

Current teaching license with Special Education endorsement Previous experience or strong interest in K-12 special education Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet varying student needs Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with general education staff, families, and support teams Positive mindset and compassion for helping each student succeed

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and support aligned with individual student IEPs Adapt lesson plans and instructional materials for students with a variety of disabilities Assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of student growth, services provided, and IEP compliance Foster a welcoming, structured classroom environment that encourages engagement and independence Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement and well-being
