Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting early learners as a Special Education Teacher for a contract assignment beginning August 20 and concluding October 30, 2026. This full-time opportunity runs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with class sessions split between morning and afternoon preschool groups. You'll provide essential early childhood special education services in a vibrant school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) license issued by CDE (required) Demonstrated experience or educational background in early childhood special education Capacity to manage and lead a classroom with up to 18 preschool students per session Strong organizational skills for case management (up to 10 students with ECSE services) Comfortable collaborating with paraprofessionals and itinerant OT/SLP providers
Role Highlights:
