Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to a rewarding contract position supporting middle school students in a welcoming educational environment. This full-time opportunity spans the school year, starting in August 2026 and continuing through May 2027. Paid training occurs ahead of the first school day, ensuring you're well-prepared to make a difference from the very beginning. In this role, you'll work with a caseload of approximately 12 middle school students using a dynamic push-in/pull-out instructional model. Collaboration and innovative teaching are central to creating inclusive learning opportunities and meaningful progress for each student.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state certification in Special Education Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs at the middle school level Strong skills developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to work effectively with support staff, general education teachers, and families Background in both push-in and pull-out service delivery models Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Positive attitude and commitment to student growth and achievement
Role Responsibilities:
