Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting middle and high school students as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming and collaborative school environment near Dover, NH. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day, working closely with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Your expertise will shine as you provide individualized instruction and essential case management, ensuring each student receives the tailored support they need to thrive academically and socially. From developing and implementing IEPs to delivering direct services and maintaining meticulous documentation, your commitment will be central to student success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with middle and/or high school students Familiarity with special education law and best practices Strong skills in case management, including IEP development and implementation Able to conduct thorough report writing and progress monitoring Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Passion for advocating and supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
