Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a pivotal role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact within a dedicated educational environment, working exclusively on-site alongside a collaborative team. In this position, you'll deliver specialized instruction, contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs), and foster an inclusive classroom. Previous experience in a school-based special education setting is highly valued, along with professional classroom management and documentation skills. Your commitment to student progress and ability to work effectively with colleagues will be key to your success.
What We're Looking For:
Active Georgia Special Education teaching license or certification Previous experience in special education, ideally within a school environment Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both special education and general education staff Strong skills in classroom management and adhering to IEP requirements Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week) Reliable transportation to report to on-site locationsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction based on students' needs and IEP guidelines Work closely with educators, parents, and staff to support students' academic and social goals Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation Support classroom management and foster a positive learning environment This contract spans the full 2026/2027 school year. The caseload is currently to be determined, and you will be provided with details upon assignment.
