Core positions collaborating with fellow special education teachers for co-teaching, inclusion models, direct academic instruction, and supplemental pull-out services. A resource/academic seminar role, providing targeted interventions and fostering student growth. Transition teacher roles, supporting students as they prepare for life after school through coordinated job placements, direct instruction, and the development and management of IEPs. 5K transition teacher for a self-contained classroom, working with young learners and a supportive team of assistants, helping students integrate into general education settings as appropriate. Self-contained classroom position for students in grades 6-8 with moderate disabilities, supported by two assistants to ensure students make progress in a structured setting.

Desired background and experience:

Current certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification). Experience with co-teaching, inclusion, or resource models preferred. Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to develop and implement individualized instruction plans. Commitment to collaboration with general education teachers, support staff, and families. Adaptability and a growth mindset in response to the unique needs and strengths of each student. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
