This full-time position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys in a supportive and collaborative school environment. Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with middle school-aged students strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring Ability to tailor instruction and interventions to meet diverse learning needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Creative problem-solving abilities and a positive, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of middle school students in a resource and/or inclusive setting Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success Provide direct instructional support, behavioral interventions, and accommodations Maintain documentation and compliance in accordance with district and state policies Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development This contract offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, with workweeks totaling between 32 and 37.5 hours, providing a stable and predictable routine throughout the school year.
