Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction and interventions in accordance with IEPs and student needs Adapt general education lessons and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff Evaluate and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records Engage with families and service providers to ensure comprehensive support Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans Foster a positive classroom community that celebrates student individuality and growth
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Valid and current South Carolina Department of Education teaching license in a recognized special education area (such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities) Strong knowledge of special education best practices and state requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility and passion for collaborative work with students, families, and colleagues Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required
