Qualifications:

Current, valid Special Education teaching certification in Pennsylvania, or an Emergency Permit with documented enrollment in a certification program Prior experience supporting students with moderate to severe learning, behavioral, and emotional needs is strongly desired Able and committed to maintaining consistent attendance throughout all ESY dates Reliable personal transportation; residence within a 35-minute drive of assigned school site Flexibility to teach different grade levels or classroom types based on student and site requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills with leadership, peers, and families

Responsibilities:

Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to students with special needs during ESY (June 29-July 30, 2026), Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-2:30pm (teacher hours: 8:30am-3:00pm) Attend mandatory teacher orientation and set-up June 23-25, 2026 Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment Implement and document IEP goals and progress Collaborate with support staff and related service providers Foster positive, growth-focused relationships with students and their families Enjoy working in a supportive network where your expertise genuinely changes lives.
