Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in early childhood education by supporting preschool students in an adaptive classroom setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Special Education Teacher eager to work on-site in a collaborative school environment. As a part-time role at approximately 49% FTE (about 20 hours per week), you'll have the chance to create personalized learning experiences that foster both academic and social growth for young learners.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education required Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with preschool or early childhood populations Knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies for preschool students with diverse learning and developmental needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong organizational skills and commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
