Located along the Connecticut River, Piermont Village School (PVS) is a K-8 school that maintains a unique blend of small-town values and traditions while preparing students for the 21st Century. We are currently accepting applications for a Special Education teacher. Candidates should possess an NH Special Educator Certificate or an NH Dept of Education Statement of Eligibility for Special Education.
Duties to include:
  • Provide modified academic instruction to students with a range of disabilities
  • Modify/adapt materials/lessons in accordance with students' needs and IEP goals
  • Collaborate/consult with related service providers, other special educators, and general educators
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP team meetings
  • Write & implement IEPs and progress reports; maintain and appropriately distribute related data and documentation
  • Establish and maintain excellent communication with parents
