Full-Time 2026-2027 school year Are you a passionate educator who believes in the power of compassion, individualized support, and meaningful connection? Join our dedicated team at KBS Academy, a private school committed to providing high-quality, compassion-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for students with unique learning needs. We're seeking a Special Education Teacher who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of neurodiverse learners by fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEP-aligned, individualized lesson plans Collaborate with BCBAs and behavior staff to support behavior goals using compassion-based ABA strategies Collect and analyze academic and behavioral data Foster a nurturing, structured, and student-centered learning space Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary team members Promote dignity, autonomy, and student voice in the learning process
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (required) Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (or PA Private School Special Education Certification) Experience working with students with autism and/or behavioral challenges Familiarity with or willingness to learn compassionate ABA practices Strong classroom management and collaboration skills Patience, creativity, and a heart for advocacy
