Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility and its associated duty satisfactory. The qualification requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. New Mexico license applicable to teaching assignment Able to proficiently perform and apply adaptive and alternative instructional methodologies to address special education students special needs. Able to demonstrate proficient application of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software. Able to understand and apply the concepts of strategic planning with resultant successful implementation to enhance student success and improve student achievement. Demonstrated understanding and application standards-based curriculum, instructional delivery methodologies, and student management techniques and processes. Embraces and encourages diversity. Demonstrated a willingness to seek professional development in all aspects of the professional area of teaching. Demonstrated ability to provide an environment and climate where all students experience creativity, success and opportunity to learn.

Position Goal:

Teaches within assigned area to effect student success and achievement as measured with state and local content standards and benchmarks.

Licensure:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, New Mexico teaching license applicable to teaching assignment, ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on job description. •Max Salary Based on License Level and Years of Experience•
