This position serves disabled students in grades K-5. The special education teacher/Title I interventionist must have training and experience in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitoring student progress, and the ability to understand and follow legal regulations pertaining to the provision of special education and Title I intervention services. The Special Education teacher must have a high level of patience, empathy, and positivity for working with students with any type of disability. Teacher must work collaboratively with staff, administration, and parents on behalf of students.
