This contract-based opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise as a Special Education Teacher, contributing to students' growth and academic success, while collaborating with dedicated professionals in a vibrant setting.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Special Education teaching certification/license Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt lessons for differing abilities and learning styles Understanding of SPED compliance and reporting requirements A collaborative mindset and passion for fostering student achievement
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students with diverse needs in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to guide curricular adjustments and support strategies Engage in collaborative planning with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain accurate student records and timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations for student programs and services Cultivate a positive, respectful classroom climate that celebrates each learner's strengths
